We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Montessori Lead Teacher to inspire young learners in our vibrant early childhood education environment at Hawthorn Montessori School. As a key leader in our 3.5-6 year old primary classroom, you will foster a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating atmosphere that promotes holistic development. Your expertise in Montessori methods will guide children through their educational journey, encouraging independence, curiosity, and a love for learning. Requirements:

• Valid Montessori teaching certification or credential through AMS, AMI, or MACTE.

• Proven classroom management skills with the ability to foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment

• Extensive knowledge of childhood development stages, special education needs, and early intervention strategies

• Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and implementing literacy education alongside other core subjects like math and physical education

• Experience working with children across preschool to kindergarten age groups in daycare or private school settings

• Excellent communication skills for engaging with children, parents, staff, and community partners

• Familiarity child welfare policies within early childhood education contexts

• A minimum of 3 years lead teacher experience in a Montessori environment required. Eligible applicants should feel comfortable and excited by the opportunity to work independently.
